GW Trachtenberg School faculty are frequently called upon by members of the media, think tanks and government officials to share their expertise in public policy, critical theory, business strategy and advocacy. They have held influential titles, from the chief statistician of the United States to National Academy of Public Administration Fellow. They have authored books and white papers that shape the academic study of public administration, public policy, economics, political science, sociology and the broader social science disciplines.
Their résumés and their research are impressive, but TSPPPA faculty are more than academics. They are also world travelers, great bakers, trivia champions and even some outstanding athletes. They are the backbone of the Trachtenberg School community. Our faculty love teaching and mentoring students as they think through concepts from class, plan career paths and get to know Washington, D.C.
