Johanna (Jo) Adashek is a Visiting Associate Professor and Environmental Law Fellow at The George Washington University Law School and a Professorial Lecturer at the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy and Public Administration. Professor Adashek previously worked as an Honors Law Clerk for the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance in the Air Enforcement Division. Professor Adashek is a member of the Maryland Bar. She holds a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law with a certificate in Environmental Law. Professor Adashek graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Environmental Studies and a BA in Geography. Professor Adashek has published two articles and has accepted a publication offer for her third article. Her most recent scholarly interests include PFAS, the regulation of air pollution and climate change, and international environmental law. She is an avid rock climber and flying trapeze enthusiast.
