Why did you choose the Trachtenberg School?

There’s no better place to study public policy and public administration than Washington, DC, and no better place in DC than GW. The faculty, my fellow students, and the university’s unique resources shaped that decision, and 25+ years later, they’ve proven just as valuable as I’d hoped.

What advice would you share with someone looking to pursue a career similar to yours?

Build a career, not a resume. Be intentional about who you work for, making sure their values and mission genuinely align with your own. Public service can take a lot of forms but they all reward people who care deeply about the mission.
