He is the director of the graduate program in Science, Technology, and Public Policy in ESIA and the field advisor for the science and technology policy track of the SPPPA doctoral program. His teaching and research interests are in industrial organization, the economics of technological change, and science and technology policy. His recent work has included topics on technology licensing, strategic partnerships, innovation networks, intellectual property rights mechanisms, R&D program evaluation, and the knowledge-based economy.
