2026 Alumni Impact Honoree

What initially inspired you to pursue a career in public service or policy, and how did your time at the Trachtenberg School shape that path?

I was raised in a family of public servants, where my parents instilled in me the importance of serving others and advocating for my community from an early age. They taught me that the government can be a powerful tool for creating meaningful change. While my family gave me the passion for public service, the Trachtenberg School gave me the analytical skills and policy foundation to turn that passion into effective action. It taught me how to approach complex challenges with evidence-based solutions while keeping people at the center of every decision.

What does being named a Trachtenberg Alumni Impact Honoree mean to you personally?

Being named a Trachtenberg Alumni Impact Honoree is deeply meaningful because it reflects the values that first drew me to GW - leadership, integrity, service, and a commitment to evidence-based public policy. It is both an honor and a reminder of my responsibility to continue creating meaningful impact in my community and in public service.

What advice would you give Trachtenberg students and alumni who want to make a meaningful impact?

Never underestimate the impact of building genuine relationships and leading with a spirit of service. Stay curious, remain grounded in your values, and remember that meaningful change is created through consistent, purpose-driven work - not just the titles you hold.

What goals or aspirations are you currently working toward in the next phase of your career?

In the next phase of my career, I aspire to lead a government affairs team while expanding my understanding of the global policy and business landscape. My long-term goal is to serve as CEO of the Motion Picture Association or a similar organization, where I can help shape public policy, strengthen international partnerships, and advocate for the creative industries on a global scale.
