Policy Perspectives by the Numbers

Policy Perspectives, the Trachtenberg School of Public Policy & Public Administration’s student journal, demonstrates the ability of students to research issues that are both timely and significant.

The new volume will be revealed and celebrated during a launch event on May 1. Here are a few other significant numbers related to Policy Perspectives.


This year’s Policy Perspectives volume. Now in its 22nd year, Policy Perspectives is the oldest student-run journal of public policy and public administration in the nation.


Trachtenberg School students who serve as authors or associate editors. By training contributors in analytical writing and editing, Policy Perspectives provides a professional development opportunity for current students.


Months the editorial team spent polishing Volume 22’s articles. The editors-in-chief, associate editors, and authors worked as a team to refine the articles appearing in Volume 22.


City government leaders Policy Perspectives interviewed for Volume 22. Interviews with Christopher Cabaldon, Mayor of West Sacramento, Calif., and Tommy Wells, Director of Washington, DC’s Department of the Environment, will appear in Volume 22.


Day in May that Policy Perspectives will release Volume 22! Please join the launch party on Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. in the Media and Public Affairs Building’s Jack Morton Auditorium. There will be Q&A with the authors, a look back at Policy Perspectives’ latest year, and a catered reception.
