Join us for a conversation with authors Paul Kendrick (MPA '07) and Stephen Kendrick moderated by TSPPPA Director Mary Tschirhart in a discussion of Nine Days. The book examines Martin Luther King Jr.’s clarification of his path through his first imprisonment with sit-in students and efforts to shift the Black vote to elect Kennedy over Nixon. Since the January publication of the book, it has gotten positive attention from Oprah Magazine, The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, and President Obama among others.
