Jason Juffras has served in the District of Columbia government for almost 20 years and presently serves as director of program evaluation in the Office of the District of Columbia Auditor.  He also served as a committee staff member for the Government Operations, Judiciary, and Education committees of the Council of the District of Columbia, where he helped developed the legislature's annual performance review process.  Dr. Juffras concentrated in public budgeting and finance in the Ph.D. program at the George Washington University's Trachtenberg School and his dissertation involved a case study of tax policy decisions in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
