Announcing Online Certificate in Budget & Public Finance

Beginning in Fall 2016, the Trachtenberg School's Graduate Certificate in Budget and Public Finance will be offered online and in-person.

The program is designed to give students a background in budget policy and process, public revenue and expenditure, and governmental accounting and financial reporting.

The certificate is for people who are, or envision becoming, a budget analyst or financial management officer in a public agency at any level of government. 

The online course options allows participants to fit their studies into their schedules. Additionally, the program is "stackable" so participants who start with the certificate and decide they'd like to pursue a full MPA or MPP degree can count all four certificate courses toward their further studies.

The deadline for fall admissions is August 1, but qualified applicants will be considered at any time.
