Saturday, March 23, 2024, 10am-2pm

Visit campus to meet with our faculty, alumni, and current students. Learn about career options, internship opportunities, and more from our director of career services and explore our programs' fields of study with faculty. Ask our alumni questions in a panel setting and over lunch. Speak with a representative from our student organizations and take home some Trachtenberg swag!

Life as a Graduate Student

Thursday, March 28, 2024, 6pm

No matter what your background may be, starting graduate school can feel a bit overwhelming. We understand and want to provide a space for you to talk about it with your cohort and current students. The session will be led by Mindy, a first-generation college student from a low-income family, who worked her way through a master's degree and is now finding her way as a doctoral student. All admitted students are welcome! 
 

Career Services and Alumni Panel

Tuesday, April 2, 2024, 4pm 

We'll start with having each of the panelists speak for a few minutes about the role of data expertise has with their career path and current work, and then we'll open it up to Q&A. For the last 10-15 minutes, each panelist will be in a separate breakout room for individual networking. 

Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 6pm 

Learn about different career pathways, in all sectors, from MPA alumni. We'll start with having each of the panelists speak for a few minutes about their career path and current work, and then we'll open it up to Q&A. For the last 10-15 minutes, each panelist will be in a separate breakout room for individual networking.

Thursday, April 11, 2024, 7pm 

Hear from Director of Career Services, Denise Fowler, as she discusses all that the Trachtenberg School does to help you propel your career. Denise will also be joined by alumni representing various programs and fields to talk about their experiences beyond the Trachtenberg School and GW.
